My Father. Canberra Marathon 1992.
I think of him every time I go for a run.
When I was 13, I announced to my Dad that I...

My dad, me, Mr. B
Santa just made this girl (and her IT bands) very happy!

Today’s Holiday Festivities Brought To You By: Vince Guaraldi Trio’s A Charlie Brown Christmas
This is, hands down, my favorite Christmas album, and probably always will be.
Merry Christmas!
Christmas 2005 in the Balcony Quad at Alpha Delta Pi in Ann Arbor.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Everybody!
P.S. I have been in Michigan and I’ve been for several runs, but I’m now plagued with a chest cold so not much going on running-wise. I promise to give a more thorough/an actual update sometime soon. Registration for the NYC Marathon is upon us (January 2nd) and I’m sure I’ll have a lot of excited energy/freaking out to do. Until then, enjoy time with family and friends!

Tonight’s Packing Mad Dash Brought To You By: Dave Matthew’s Christmas Song
I’ve been listening to Christmas music non-stop since Monday. I’m generally a purist when it comes to Christmas music, but I adore this song. I really do.
His heart full of love love love
Love love love
Love love was all around
I saw this commercial while in a cab with friends this weekend and I about lost it. I used to work with sheep in college and I need this to live on my blog.
I spoke with my mom earlier and it’s Christmas tree decorating day at the homestead. Always a festive and exciting day!
I’m a little sad that I’m not a part of it, and even more sad that I haven’t decorated a Christmas tree in about 3 years. Still, I’m very excited to join my family in the mitten in a few weeks!
P.S. Weird fact… my mom and I have this strange ESP thing happening, and as I was typing up this post, I received a text from her with a picture of the tree… Huh.

This More Seasonable December Day Brought To You By: Baby, It’s Cold Outside by She & Him
Being that it is December 1 and the tree at Rockefeller is standing and lit, it is now perfectly acceptable to listen to and post Christmas music!
This album was a recent addition to my extensive Christmas music selection. It seemed fitting for today. After a week of balmy temperatures, this morning’s 40 degrees felt frigid (though I thought refreshing). Nothing a scarf and a hot coffee in hand couldn’t fix.
Merry Christmas!
All of my Christmas wishes came true and Santa and Mrs. Claus got a me new computer! After several mimosas, we decided it was time to play with Photobooth.
I was lucky enough to catch up and spend an entire day, night, and most of today with my friend Julie. It was so nice to laugh and catch up and have a rip-roarin’ good time with one of my most favorite people. And today, Julie and I grabbed lunch with one of my other favorite people, Rebecca.
This is a picture my mom snapped of me and Julie on her phone before we left to watch the Grand Rapids Griffins downtown with my mom, dad, and baby (16 hardly qualifies as a baby) sister.

And now, all of the Woodruff sisters are home.
All is calm, all is bright.
I love Christmas time and my family, so I’m off! We’re busy getting ready for tomorrow night’s Woodruff Family Reindeer Games (yes, that is a real thing at our house) and planning the festivities. :)
